Welcome to Gigbees. By using our platform to book services or apply as an assistant, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Gigbees

Gigbees is a platform connecting customers with verified assistants for personal and business services. We act as an intermediary and are not the direct employer of assistants. All assistants are independent service providers.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our services or apply as an assistant.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.
  • You must have a valid Indian mobile number for verification.

3. Service Scope & Limitations

Gigbees assistants are semi-educated professionals trained for light assistance tasks. They are not skilled laborers, technicians, or specialized professionals. All services have clearly defined boundaries to ensure safety, quality, and appropriate expectations.

3.1 Personal Services

A. Medical Assistant (Escort Services)

What We Provide:

  • Escorting senior citizens or family members to hospitals and diagnostic labs
  • Assistance with hospital paperwork and registration
  • Buying medicines from pharmacies
  • Providing safe companionship during medical visits
  • Helping with appointment scheduling and coordination

Clear Boundaries:

  • ❌ Not trained nurses or caregivers
  • ❌ Cannot provide medical advice or handle medical emergencies
  • ❌ Cannot administer medication or perform nursing duties
  • ❌ Cannot lift or physically support patients (mobility assistance only)
  • ✅ Limited to escort services and basic assistance only

B. Helper (Home & Event Support)

What We Provide:

  • Assistance with shifting and moving light furniture within homes
  • Physical help during family functions and festivals
  • Packing and unpacking support during relocations
  • General home assistance for routine tasks
  • Event setup and coordination support

Clear Boundaries:

  • ❌ Not professional cleaners, electricians, plumbers, or technicians
  • ❌ Cannot handle specialized repairs, deep cleaning, or maintenance work
  • ❌ No heavy lifting beyond 10-15 kg per person
  • ❌ Cannot work at heights or in hazardous conditions
  • ✅ Physical assistance for light household tasks only

C. Errand Assistant (Official & Personal Errands)

What We Provide:

  • Bank deposits, withdrawals, and basic banking tasks
  • Document submissions to government and private offices
  • Dry cleaning pickup and drop-off
  • Medical errands and prescription collection
  • Utility bill payments at offices or online
  • Shopping assistance and grocery pickup

Clear Boundaries:

  • ❌ Cash handling strictly limited to ₹5,000 maximum
  • ❌ Government errands only during official office hours (10 AM - 5 PM)
  • ❌ Cannot handle Aadhaar, passport, or sensitive identity document processes
  • ❌ Cannot provide legal advice or handle complex legal documentation
  • ❌ Cannot make financial decisions on customer's behalf
  • ✅ Submission and collection support only, within specified travel limits

3.2 Business Services

A. Business Helper (Office, Store & Event Support)

What We Provide:

  • Office support including paperwork handling and file organization
  • Reception and administrative backup during peak hours
  • Store support including packaging and stock arrangement
  • Assisting sales staff with customer service
  • Event and field support including flyer distribution and registration desk help
  • Light coordination and general day-to-day business assistance

Clear Boundaries:

  • ❌ Not loaders, unloaders, or stock movers between locations
  • ❌ Not professional cleaners, electricians, or skilled tradespeople
  • ❌ Not for hazardous work or sales target-driven roles
  • ❌ Cannot operate heavy machinery or specialized equipment
  • ❌ Not for outdoor labor in extreme weather conditions
  • ✅ Only for routine, non-specialized support tasks in safe environments

B. Business Govt & Process Runner

What We Provide:

  • Submitting challans, forms, and tax paperwork to government offices
  • Collecting certificates, approvals, NOCs, and licenses
  • Utility office visits for electricity, water, and trade license matters
  • Liaising with municipal and compliance desks
  • License renewals and document submissions
  • Queue management and follow-up coordination

Clear Boundaries:

  • ❌ Not CA/CS-level legal or compliance professionals
  • ❌ Cannot provide legal advice or represent businesses legally
  • ❌ Cash handling strictly limited to ₹5,000 maximum
  • ❌ Cannot handle Aadhaar, passport, or sensitive ID processes
  • ❌ Government errands only during office hours (10 AM - 5 PM)
  • ✅ Submission and collection support only, within office timings

C. Business Office/Admin Assistant

What We Provide:

  • Reception and front desk backup
  • Filing, scanning, photocopying, and record management
  • Basic data entry and MS Office tasks (if system and training provided)
  • Meeting preparation including room setup and material organization
  • Visitor management and phone handling
  • Clerical support for routine administrative work

Clear Boundaries:

  • ❌ Not accountants, HR managers, or specialized professionals
  • ❌ Cannot handle confidential finance, payroll, or legal documents
  • ❌ Not for sales canvassing or outdoor sales activities
  • ❌ Cannot make business decisions or sign official documents
  • ❌ Not for technical IT support or software troubleshooting
  • ✅ Only routine clerical and administrative work under supervision

D. Event Desk & Promo Assistant

What We Provide:

  • Registration desk management and ticketing
  • Guest orientation and attendee support
  • Flyer and brochure distribution
  • Lead collection and contact information gathering
  • Brand promotion and information dissemination
  • Light event coordination and crowd management

Clear Boundaries:

  • ❌ Not loaders, heavy setup crew, or security personnel
  • ❌ Not sales closers or revenue target-driven roles
  • ❌ Not complex event managers or technical coordinators
  • ❌ Cannot handle audio/visual equipment or technical setups
  • ❌ Not for outdoor promotions in extreme weather
  • ✅ Strictly assistant-level, front-facing, presentable staff roles

3.3 General Service Conditions

Time-Based Services:

  • All services are provided for the booked duration only
  • Service extensions require prior approval from Gigbees
  • Additional charges apply for extended hours beyond the booking
  • Assistants are entitled to breaks as per labor laws (tea breaks and lunch breaks for full-day bookings)

Working Conditions:

  • Customers must provide a safe, clean, and appropriate working environment
  • Assistants have the right to refuse work in unsafe, unhygienic, or hazardous conditions
  • For business services, short tea breaks and lunch breaks must be provided for full-day staff
  • Access to drinking water and basic facilities must be ensured

Travel & Location:

  • Travel charges apply beyond specified radius (typically ₹10/km extra)
  • Assistants work within city limits unless specifically agreed upon
  • Remote or isolated locations may require additional coordination

Equipment & Materials:

  • Customers must provide necessary materials, tools, or equipment required for the service
  • Assistants are not expected to bring specialized tools or equipment
  • For office/admin work, computer systems and software access must be provided by the customer

4. Treatment of Assistants

All customers must treat assistants with dignity and respect. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment: Any form of verbal, physical, or sexual harassment will result in immediate service termination and legal action.
  • Abuse: Threatening, intimidating, or abusive behavior toward assistants is not tolerated.
  • Unsafe Conditions: Customers must provide a safe working environment. Assistants have the right to refuse work in unsafe conditions.
  • Inappropriate Requests: Assistants may refuse tasks outside their service scope, illegal activities, or requests that make them uncomfortable.
  • Working Hours: Assistants are entitled to breaks as per labor laws. Continuous work beyond booked hours requires consent and additional payment.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate booking information including address, contact details, and service requirements.
  • Be present or have a responsible adult present during the service.
  • Provide necessary materials, tools, or equipment required for the service.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and appropriate working environment.
  • Pay the agreed amount as per the booking confirmation.
  • Report any issues or concerns immediately through proper channels.

6. Assistant Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time and provide services professionally as described.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and property.
  • Communicate clearly about service limitations and capabilities.
  • Report safety concerns or inappropriate customer behavior to Gigbees immediately.
  • Refuse tasks that are unsafe, illegal, or outside service scope.

7. Booking & Availability

  • Bookings are subject to assistant availability in your area.
  • We will confirm bookings within 24 hours or notify you if unavailable.
  • Gigbees reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Customers will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.

8. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing is clearly displayed before booking confirmation.
  • Prices include service charges and applicable taxes.
  • Payment is due as per the booking terms (advance or post-service).
  • Additional charges may apply for service extensions, travel beyond specified radius, or special requests.
  • Payment methods will be communicated during booking confirmation.

9. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Customer Cancellation: Cancel at least 6 hours before scheduled service for full refund. Cancellations within 6 hours may incur a 50% charge.
  • Gigbees Cancellation: If we cancel due to unavailability, you receive a full refund or can reschedule.
  • No-Show: If customer is not available at the scheduled time, full charges apply.
  • Service Issues: If service quality is unsatisfactory, report within 24 hours for review and potential refund.

10. Background Verification

  • All assistants undergo background verification including identity, address, and reference checks.
  • While we verify assistants to a reasonable extent, Gigbees does not guarantee performance or outcomes.
  • Customers are encouraged to exercise normal precautions and report any concerns immediately.

11. Prohibited Activities

  • Requesting or performing illegal activities.
  • Harassment, abuse, or discrimination based on gender, religion, caste, or any other factor.
  • Attempting to hire assistants directly to bypass platform fees.
  • Providing false information or fraudulent bookings.
  • Using the platform for purposes other than legitimate service bookings.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect and store personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
  • Customer and assistant data is kept confidential and used only for service provision.
  • We do not share personal information with third parties except as required by law.
  • Phone numbers are verified via OTP for security purposes.

13. Dispute Resolution

  • Report any issues or disputes to support@gigbees.com within 24 hours of service completion.
  • We will investigate and attempt to resolve disputes fairly within 7 business days.
  • If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to arbitration in accordance with Indian law.

14. Termination of Access

  • Gigbees reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for users or assistants who violate these Terms.
  • Serious violations including harassment, fraud, or illegal activities will result in permanent ban and legal action.
  • Users may discontinue using the service at any time by contacting support.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, branding, and materials on Gigbees are the property of Gigbees and protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in [Your City/State]. By using Gigbees, you consent to this jurisdiction.

17. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Continued use of Gigbees after updates means you accept the revised terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
